About me -

I have worked with a variety of printmaking methods including: screenprinting, linocut, monoprinting, aquatint and drypoint etching on acetate. Other methods used are: pen and ink, acrylic painting, marbling and calligraphy. Images are derived primarily from scenes within my locality.

I studied BA Hons in English, Art, Psychology and Sociology before working as a Psychiatric Nurse for 22 years during which time I worked on a variety of creatively therapeutic activities within a mental health setting. Over the last 5 years I have been developing my printmaking skills at the University of Hertfordshire day courses and Oaklands College evening courses. My aim with these images has been to celebrate the beautiful landscapes around Hertfordshire.
