I worked in Napsbury hospital for the last three years of its existence. I have tried to symbolise some of what mental health and the closure process meant for me. I created the collagraphic card plates using cut- outs of photographs of the existing structure which were then stuck on card and layered up with acrylic and corundum. I used a two plate process for background colour and script and images of the building itself.
